Jay is a loyal servant to his clients, following the fiduciary standard for trusts, employer sponsored plans, and institutional resources to help meet the mission of the funds in his care. He devotes great attention to the priorities of each client before recommending strategies to help obtain their goals. He joined Raymond James in 2020 after nine years in wealth management.
Jay’s practice focuses on entity-owned assets, such as trusts, company retirement plans, endowments, and select individual accounts.
Jay holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Campbell University with a concentration in investments, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Samford University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, a Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designee, and holds the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor credential. Additionally, he holds an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from Duke University, and the Series 7 and Series 66 licenses from FINRA.
Jay lives in Cary with his wife, Marianna, and a blended family of six children. He enjoys baseball, fishing, youth athletics, and is occasionally seen and heard playing drums in venues around the Triangle. He is active in service positions at Brooks Avenue Church of Christ and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
