James Dawson, CFP®, CPWA®, is branch manager and registered principal of Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., member FINRA/SIPC. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner and Certified Private Wealth AdvisorSM professional he holds Series 6,7,24,51,63 and 65 licenses and State of Colorado Life & Health insurance licenses.
A native of Boulder, Jamie received a scholarship to attend the University of Colorado, where he was a four-time golf letter winner and senior captain. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in English and a master’s degree in Anthropology.
Jamie continues to enhance his knowledge by regularly participating in advanced training opportunities throughout all areas of financial services.
Jamie is active in the Boulder community. Jamie is a current member of Downtown Boulder, the Financial Planning Association of Colorado, the Boulder County Estate Planning Council, and the Alumni C Club of the University of Colorado.
Jamie lives in Boulder with his wife, Megan, and their two daughters, Olivia and Miranda. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, running, camping, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends.
