Jodi Johnson

Jodi J. Johnston,

CFP® Owner

Jodi was raised in the small town of York, Pennsylvania. She credits her strong work ethic, business acumen and empathy to her resilient parents. Her mother, Judy Levine, grew up in subsidized housing in Bridgeport, CT and used to say that in her diverse neighborhood, everyone had “nothing.” Judy became a teacher and eventually moved to Clearwater, Florida where she taught academics and life skills to GED students.

Jodi’s father is a small business owner and overcame many failures before achieving success.

After graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Administration of Justice, she became a Certified Paralegal Specialist concentrating on commercial, business, and bankruptcy law. In the meantime, she and her husband both worked 60 hours a week to pay off student loans and make ends meet, while saving over a decade to purchase their first home.

She moved to the Tampa Bay area in 2002 to join Raymond James as a regulatory paralegal. After gaining experience and licenses in the securities industry, she transitioned into a career as a financial advisor and became a CFP® professional.

Jodi partners with individuals and families to manage and preserve wealth and enrich the quality of their lives. She takes pride in making a positive impact and getting them on track towards their goals.

Jodi and her husband reside in northern Pinellas County, Florida, and their daughter graduated from the University of South Florida.

Jodi is a member of the Economic Club of Tampa and The Florida Orchestra North Suncoast Associates. She mentors at Palm Harbor High School through the Pinellas Education Foundation’s Take Stock in Children program and is a consistent One Blood donor.

She enjoys weekend time with family and friends, pickleball, fitness classes, and has a special place in her heart for Persian cats. Over the years they’ve rescued three and her latest family member is Princess Leia-royal lover of chin scratches, Tasty Temptations Tuna, and lizard stalking on the lanai.
