John is a financial professional with 25 years of experience as a financial advisor and as an executive in institutional sales and investment banking. He is a Wealth Management Specialist and Raymond James Trust Specialist. He holds Series 7, 9, 10, 31, 63 and 65 licenses, is licensed in life and health insurance and earned a bachelor's degree from Miami University.

Active in serving his community, John is on the board and executive finance committees of the Taft Museum of Art and the Freestore-Foodbank Foundation, on the investment committee of ArtsWave, on the board of the Downtown Council Inc. (DCI) and on the development committee of the Lindner Center of Hope. He is also part of the Cincinnati Regional Business Committee and an Economic & Development Board Member.

In addition, he previously served on the boards of the Mercantile Library, CET-TV, the Cincinnati Museum Center-Children's Museum, and the Children's Home of Northern Kentucky.

A long-time resident of the Greater Cincinnati area, John and his wife, Patrice, have three children, Anne, Ellen and William. He is a member of the Queen City Club, Recess Club, Hyde Park Country Club and Metropolitan Club.
