Originally from Tuscaloosa, Elliott attended Tuscaloosa County High School, where he played basketball for his dad, Bobby Jones. Upon graduation, he chose the University of Alabama in Huntsville, lettering in basketball and obtaining a Business Administration degree with a concentration in Investments. Elliott’s first job was with Boeing, working as a financial analyst on a missile defense program. After three years, he made the move to Raymond James, and considers it the best career decision he could have possibly made.
Elliott is committed to helping his clients create a well-rounded financial game plan and thus earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2016. Being certified by the CFP Board of Standards means someone has voluntarily taken the extra steps needed to provide a high standard of financial planning to those they serve.
Elliott and his wife Nadia, a Physical Therapist, live in Tuscaloosa. He is a graduate of the 2019 Leadership Tuscaloosa class and a member of the Alexis de Tocqueville Society of the United Way of West Alabama. Elliott spends his time playing sports, particularly golf and basketball, while Nadia enjoys CrossFit.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
