Kristen “KP” LaRue joined the Jones Financial Group of Raymond James in August 2021. In her role, she supports clients with estate processing, portfolio reporting and financial advisor assistance. KP is known around the office for her empathetic approach during challenging life transitions, her ability to clearly communicate complex processes and her commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
KP began her career with Raymond James in 2010, focusing on marketing and client communications. She transitioned to the Jones Financial Group in 2021. With over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, including five years in banking, KP brings a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to her role. In 2023, she earned her Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, KP is actively involved in her community. She recently served as president of the Marshall Elementary PTO and is currently an active member of the Rockford Lutheran Elementary PTO. KP resides in the Rockford area with her husband, Tim, a pipefitter, welder and elected officer on the Pipefitter Examining Board with Local 23. They have two sons, Lucas (born July 2015) and Logan (born April 2020). In her free time, KP enjoys family adventures, exploring local bike trails, and attending music and sporting events – especially those involving her son Lucas’ soccer games, the Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers.
