Originally from Miami, Sonya was named a Robert W. Woodruff Music Scholar at Emory University. She graduated with her BM from McGill University and received the Grace Evelyn Tuttle Scholarship, the Maureen Forrester - Quebec Musicians’ Guild Scholarship, and the Wirth Brass Scholarship. As a Service Associate with Raymond James – she assists advisors, staff, and clients in managing and maintaining relationships - successfully completing financial transactions and ensuring efficient client service. In her downtime she enjoys walking, listening to podcasts, and singing at church.
