Josh was born in Milledgeville, Georgia, and his family moved to Cartersville, Georgia, when he was a young child. Josh is a graduate of Cartersville High School and the University of Georgia, where he was a three-year letterman on the UGA football team.

Serving clients’ financial needs for more than 13 years in mortgage banking, consumer banking, commercial banking and financial planning allows Josh to provide a distinct perspective to opportunities his clients face. He works with clients to develop, implement and utilize strategies to help simplify and organize their finances in order to preserve their lifestyle, family and assets. Upon proper organization, Josh helps clients align their financial desires with their financial decisions, which is achieved by thorough examination of a client’s current plan. After this review, he makes recommendations regarding asset preservation, asset accumulation and liquidity management built to work in all situations.

Josh joined Raymond James in 2019 after nearly five years with Peachtree Planning and three years at Regions Bank. At Raymond James, Josh has access to the financial expertise and services of one of the largest independent full-service financial services firms not headquartered on Wall Street. If you have a question or concern, he answers promptly, completely and truthfully. He also provides all the information you need to make informed decisions, based on realistic expectations, about your investment needs.

Josh lives in Cartersville, Georgia, with his wife, Tamara, daughters Carder and Mary Collins and yellow Lab Marshall. He is very active in his community as a board member of the Cartersville/Bartow County Chamber and as a member of the Cartersville/Bartow County Exchange Club. During the fall, you can hear Josh on WBHF AM 1450 and FM 100.3, where he is the host of Countdown to Kickoff and a sideline color commentator for local high school football. Josh is also a member of the Georgia Bulldog Sports Radio Network as an analyst and is a regular contributor on Bulldogs Live, a weekly call-in radio show, and Dawg Talk Post Game Show. In his free time, Josh enjoys being on the lake with his family, hunting and fishing.
