With nearly three decades of experience as an advisor, Joshua is passionate about helping clients find the straightest path to their goals. An educator at heart, he enjoys communicating complex financial ideas in terms that are easy to understand, offering the context that often can lead to “aha” moments. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Certified Private Wealth Advisor®, he is dedicated to putting clients first and providing personalized strategies to help them along the path to and through retirement. At the foundation of his financial planning approach is a carefully managed, risk-adjusted process and open communication.

For the past seven years, Joshua has taught wealth management to adults at local colleges and online to pay it forward, so to speak. “The ability to provide personal advice to our families while engaging in markets daily is the perfect fit for me,” he says, and he enjoys being able to share his passion with others. His interest in the financial markets began at Syracuse University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics. He joined Interstate/Johnson Lane in 1992 and went on to serve clients at Prudential Securities and Robert W. Baird before joining Raymond James in 2011.

Originally from New York, Joshua is married to Leslie; they have two children, Ansley and JJ. They live in Atlanta, which they have called home for decades. They are members of Peachtree Presbyterian Church. In his free time, Joshua enjoys golfing, reading books and traveling, especially to Hilton Head Island. He also stays involved in his community as a board member for LifeGate Counseling Center.
