Driven by the desire to help people better manage their money, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional Steve Simmerman focuses on investment planning and selection. He brings to the team a unique understanding of tax laws and strategies. Prior to joining Raymond James, Steve spent 12 years with Merrill Lynch, where he most recently served as an associate vice president of investments. He is also a former trust officer for a local bank.

Steve, is a graduate of University of Kentucky’s College of Business and Economics with a degree in accounting. He ia also a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. Steve and his wife, Toby, have two daughters, Sarah and Hannah. He has served as the president and director of Community Hospice, CASA (Childwatch), and the United Way of Northern Kentucky.
