In 1996, Julia graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in computer science and a minor in mathematics. She accepted a position at Goldman Sachs the following year and was promoted to the role of vice president in 2001. In 2002, she became a consultant and continued to work at Goldman Sachs for the next 13 years. In 2018, Julia proudly joined Raymond James, allowing her to provide clients with boutique-style service backed by the distinct resources of a top financial firm.
Julia’s interest in financial planning was sparked in part by her childhood. With only a few hundred dollars in their pockets, Julia’s parents came to the U.S. with her and her brother to start a new life. As a child, Julia saw her parents work tirelessly to provide for their family. Although they were disciplined when it came to saving, they were wary about investing and never put a plan together for their futures. Julia felt that this was an essential missing piece and, learning from her parents’ experiences, became dedicated to helping people fulfill their full financial potential.
Originally from the Ukraine, Julia now splits her time between New Hampshire and New Jersey. She is very focused on family and loves spending time with her husband, Marc, and their four grown children, Anna, Stephanie, Victoria and Thomas. Julia stays active in her free time – she’s an avid runner and has completed three marathons with a goal of eventually completing the seven World Majors. She also enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her dogs, Rey and Kylo.
