Alex Myers, CFP®, AIF® Managing Director

Alex joined our practice as a partner in 2004 while it was affiliated with Legg Mason Wood Walker. In 2009, he co-founded Kairos Wealth Advisors of Raymond James.

Alex earned his Bachelor of Business Administration, Summa Cum Laude, from Loyola University Maryland's Sellinger School of Business and Management. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®. He earned the Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM designation through the College for Financial Planning.

On five occasions, Alex has been named as one of Financial Planning’s Top 25 Regional Advisors Under 40. From 2017 – 2021, he has been selected by Forbes as a Top Next-Generation Wealth Advisor. In 2021, Forbes also designated Alex a Best-In-State Wealth Advisor. He is a member of Raymond James' Chairman’s Council.

Alex is Vice Chairman of Carroll Hospital Foundation and a Director at Carroll Lutheran School. He previously served 12 years as a Director and Treasurer of Carroll County Youth Service Bureau, several terms as Council President of Mount Union Lutheran Church and as a youth ministry volunteer.

Alex’s personal interests include his family, fitness, Christian apologetics and acoustic guitar. Alex and his wife, Cindy, live just outside of Westminster with their four very energetic kiddos—Charlie, Lydia, Evelynn and Henry. Filling out their family is their miniature dachshund Otis, who is the only Myers with blue eyes!

Chairman’s Council membership is based mainly on assets under management, education, credentials and fiscal year production. Requalification is required annually.
