Mendel Davis joined the Kairos Wealth Advisors team in 2021. He arrived with enthusiasm and a deep commitment to the delivery of professional financial services. Mendel also brought an array of diverse experiences in finance, most recently as an Assistant Vice President at JPMorgan Chase. As a Financial Advisor, Mendel embraces a set of personal values that guide a passion for assisting clients. Learning and formal education opportunities have a high priority in Mendel's life. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business, Mendel earned a certificate in Global Business from the Harvard Business School. He completed the Master of Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of Maryland Global Campus. In addition, Mendel became a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® through the College for Financial Planning.
Mendel is a native of Baltimore. Following graduation from the Talmudical Academy of Baltimore, he pursued the study of religion in Jerusalem for two years. He also invested important time as the head geriatric counselor for the Hebrew Academy of Special Children.
Mendel is a 21st century philomath – a genuine lover of learning and studying. It is no surprise, therefore, that Mendel married a teacher. He and his Russian-born wife, Liza, reside in Baltimore with their beautiful baby daughter, Ariella. During his free time, Mendel is an avid sports fan and Netflix watcher. He enjoys travel and considers himself a protégé of Chef Gordon Ramsay when it comes to his passion for cooking. Before meeting Liza, Mendel was a semiprofessional Latin and ballroom dancer and motorcycle enthusiast. For a brief time, he also was also Eubie the Bee, the University of Baltimore’s mascot!
