Ghalib strives to bring honesty and trustworthiness to his approach to financial services. His utmost goal for his clients is for them to feel financially confident, and he helps them with preservation of family assets and careful management of both sides of the balance sheet. Ghalib takes a personal interest in helping his clients navigate through every aspect of their financial lives. Working with multiple generations when warranted, he helps the matriarch and patriarch pass on their values, hopes and dreams to their heirs.
Growing up, Ghalib worked with his father, who was an entrepreneur. Through this, he learned the various aspects of investment management and took a keen interest in the financial industry. His interest led him to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He then worked with Wells Fargo Advisors and Morgan Stanley before making the move to Raymond James. Ghalib finds that Raymond James’ distinct family feel resonates with him and complements his own values.
His day-to-day work involves financial planning, asset and liability management, retirement and estate planning, education planning, and working with other trusted resource partners such as his clients’ CPAs and attorneys. Ghalib also specializes in corporate/executive financial services including 401(k)s, corporate cash management and employee retention.
Outside of the office, Ghalib is active in his community. He volunteers with his church, as well as with the Aga Kahn Foundation, an international philanthropic foundation that services those in need worldwide. He also enjoys sporting hobbies such as pickleball, tennis, golf and swimming.
Originally from Mombasa, Kenya, Ghalib moved to London at age 7 and then to Calgary, Canada for a year before settling in California, where he still lives today with his spouse, Marianne, and his two sons, Nicholas and Ryan.
