Darryl has many years of experience in serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families and professionals such as physicians, attorneys and engineers. He develops financial plans and investment, estate planning and tax strategies designed to enable people to pursue their financial goals in an efficient manner. Darryl believes that his behavioral coaching is instrumental in helping his clients stay on track and be good stewards of their wealth.

Darryl is a Certified Financial Planner professional. It is one of the most respected financial planning credentials among consumers and the recognized standard of excellence in personal financial planning.

In addition, he is a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® with specialized knowledge in behavioral finance, family dynamics, risk management, estate planning, tax planning, wealth transfer strategies and investment management. Before joining Raymond James in 2020, Darryl was a senior vice president and financial advisor at UBS Financial Services, where he worked for 13 years. He earned an MBA from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State University.

Competency, integrity and trust are cornerstones of how Darryl conducts himself. “Clients expect you to know your business, but they need to be confident you are doing what is best for them – and that you have their back,” he said.

In the community, Darryl supports the Bailey & Oliver’s Kids Foundation and their work with hOofin’ iT Occupational Therapy Services. He also supports RZIM Ministries for their work in Christian apologetics.

Darryl is originally from Corinth, Mississippi. He moved to Kansas City in 2000, then to Chicago in 2002, and back to Kansas City in 2006. Today, he lives in Bentonville, Arkansas, with his wife, Carri, and their children, Asa, Alex and Abbey.
