Alfred believes investment management is more art than science. He enjoys helping clients put together the puzzle that financial planning and investment management can present, and finds it exciting to see the pieces of that puzzle work together to create a desirable picture for the client. In most cases, Alfred sees multiple routes that can be taken to pursue an individual’s financial goals. That’s why his team is excellent at getting to know a client well enough to understand which route will be most suitable for them.
Money should be a blessing, but Alfred understands the burden it can sometimes bring. He encourages clients to think about the effect their wealth will have on the relationships in their lives, as well as how it could influence the motivation of future generations.
Prior to joining Raymond James in 2017, Alfred was a private financial advisor and senior vice president with SunTrust Investment Services for 16 years. The Forbes ranking of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years’ experience, and the algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Out of approximately 32,725 nominations received, based on thresholds, more than 5,000 advisors received the award. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Neither Forbes nor SHOOK receives a fee in exchange for rankings.
