Whether he is meeting with prospective clients, responding to current client needs or huddling his team to optimize and prioritize tasks for a productive day, Simon strives to organize tomorrow, today. With profound care for his clients, he aims to deeply understand them as people and help them feel confident in their financial futures.
The client-advisor relationship reaches well beyond business for Simon. He believes sincerity and diligence are two of his most defining traits as a financial planner.
To Simon, true success is not based just on analytical strategy. It includes educating clients on their financial standing and ensuring they are comfortable with asking questions. Simon recognizes that in addition to preserving wealth and helping mitigate risk, it is important for clients to enjoy life in the present – and have a plan for the unexpected.
Simon has myriad experiences in financial services. Prior to joining Raymond James in October 2023, he was a financial advisor with Edward Jones since 2009. In his time there, he held several roles, including field trainer, branch excellence leader and DEI leader. His work experience is further backed by two designations: Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ and Certified Financial Planner™ professional.
Raymond James was Simon’s choice to launch his independent practice because of the firm’s many resources and history of conservativism. In an ever-changing regulatory environment, having quality products available and sophisticated technological offerings was important for Keeling Wealth.
Born in Edlington, England, Simon now resides in Concord, New Hampshire. He is married to Amanda Keeling and has three children: Caroline, Colby and Cassidy. He and his family are the proud keepers of two dogs, seven cats, two bunnies, one bearded dragon and numerous freshwater fishes. Some might say they have a small-scale petting zoo. Outside his family, Simon also enjoys working out, traveling, being in the outdoors and playing basketball.
AAMS® and Accredited Asset Management Specialist℠ are registered service marks of the College for Financial Planning.
