USF Fast56: Fastest Growing Bull Businesses

The USF Fast 56 Awards recognize 56 of the most successful companies owned or led by University of South Florida alumni. Named for the university’s founding year, this signature event highlights the entrepreneurial achievements and business leadership of our alumni community.

University of South Florida Fast 56 for 2025, reviewed and tabulated by RSM, candidate companies must have been in operation for a minimum of 36 months, have verifiable revenue of at least $100,000 for the first two reporting periods and $250,000 for the most recent 12-month period and must be owned or operated by a former USF student who meets one of the following: A former USF student or group of former students must have owned 50% or more of the company during the eligible period, former USF student must have served as the company's chief executive (e.g. chairman, CEO, president or managing partner) during the eligible period or a former USF student must have founded the company and been an active member of the most senior management team during the eligible period. Out of hundreds of total nominations, 56 won the award. This ranking is based upon the period from 1/1/2022 - 12/31/2024 and was released on 9/19/2025. Tampa Bay Business Journal Fast 50

In order to qualify, honorees must be privately held, locally owned, for-profit companies and meet minimum revenue requirements for the preceding years.

The Tampa Bay Business Journal Fast 50 Award is based on third party nominations for privately held and locally owned companies headquartered in Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, or Sarasota counties. These companies must have been in operation since January 1, 2022 (or prior) with annual revenue of at least $1 Million in 2022. Winners are chosen by an independent editorial team based on fastest growing revenue along with the merits, achievements, and contributions these companies have had to their organizations and local community. 50 companies were selected for 2025 based on a time period of January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024 and winners were announced on June 3, 2025.
