September 2025
How many times have we been told that there are no stupid questions but yet, we think to ourselves, “I’m not asking that, it’s probably a stupid question.” In particular, as women, we tend to hold back good and valid questions, because we figure we should know the answers or it’s too obvious to ask.
Just recently, my husband, Roger and I, took a tour of Michigan Stadium, aka, The Big House. Side note: It really IS big! Anway, as we are looking down over the stadium with the rest of the group and tour guide, I notice there are some odd platforms with folding chairs and strangely numbered outlined squares on them. I wanted to ask what those were for, but I didn’t. I figured it was a stupid question. I mean it was either obvious to everyone, or I was just supposed to know. After all, I’m not a football expert! As we began to move to the next spot of the tour, I heard two different people ask the tour guide my same question! Not to mention…they were men. Huh?! I guess it wasn’t a stupid question after all.
What questions do you have? Well, we are going Back to the Basics on Wednesday, September 24th, for our annual Women’s Event. I will be talking about basic investment ideas and how we look at retirement and financial planning throughout your life. If you have questions you wish to submit ahead of time email them here: kindredfinancialpartners@raymondjames.com, or bring them with you.
It will be a great evening to talk about basic investment ideas and strategies, enjoy a nice dinner and talk with other like-minded women. Be sure to RSVP when you receive your invitation and bring a friend! We like meeting new people too!
Any opinions are those of the author and are not necessarily those of Raymond James.
