Welcome to Ladies First, a blog where team member Stacy Caudill writes on timely topics and shares her unique perspective and witty commentary.
We started this blog because women are sometimes the “forgotten half” when it comes to money, finances and investing, yet women own 51% of American personal wealth, according to the Bank of Montreal’s Wealth Institute. Studies also show that women live longer than men, and a 2014 study shared on Raymond James Point of View mentioned that 27% of married women said they take charge of financial and retirement planning – up from 14% in 2006.* In view of these numbers, it’s time to plan accordingly.
