Jane Klosky was born and spent her formative years in Anderson, SC. Her family relocated to Clemson for a time and ultimately established roots in Richmond, Virginia. Jane studied Business at Winthrop College and raised her family in the Richmond Virginia area.
In 2008, Jane retired from Henrico County General Government after 30 years of service. She worked in the Human Resources Department beginning as a Business Manager and ultimately retiring as an HR Technology Project Manager. Through her initiative Henrico County was the first local government in Virginia to implement an online application system. As a member of the Henrico Internet Project (HIP) team Jane was instrumental in developing the county’s internet presence. Prior to her retirement, Jane was responsible for obtaining funding and implementing Oracle’s HR/Payroll system for employees of Henrico General Government and Henrico School System.
Jane has served in the role of Technology and Project Management with Klosky and Associates for two years. During that time she has been instrumental in the development and management for the online and social media presence for Klosky and Associates. She has also assisted in the design and completion of the Client Service Matrix for our firm. She continues to be involved in design and management of initiatives and projects undertaken by Klosky and Associates. Jane is blessed to have two remarkable sons, Steve and John, and two wonderful daughters-in-law, Leigh Ann and Jill. Her six grandchildren—Jordan, Michael, Alex, Nick, Anna, and Katie are her greatest love and joy.
Since moving to Dothan, Jane became a Master Gardener and is very involved in the Dothan Newcomers’ Club. She is also a member of Alabama Chapter W of the Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O). Jane is also actively involved at St. Columba Catholic Church in a number of areas.
