Over three decades, Todd has served as a financial advisor in the Northville community, helping families gain perspective on the big picture. As branch manager, he is also responsible for leadership, operations and management at the practice. Helping people find the path to their important goals is what gives him purpose. “Someone once told me to find a job that I want to run to in the morning, versus just walk to – I took that advice to heart,” he says. “I love my job and look forward to it every day.”
The first thing you’ll notice about him is his empathetic manner, which helps him relate to all types of people. He loves hearing about where his clients are coming from so he can help them get to where they’re going in life. You’ll also quickly learn he’s a big believer in empowering people through knowledge, and strives to explain complex topics in terms that are simple to understand. As a former treasurer of the Northville Educational Foundation, he lives out these values through community support as well.
Todd earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Hillsdale College and attended the Securities Institute at the Wharton School of Business. After college, he joined Edward Jones in Northville where he served as a financial advisor for 15 years. In 2005, he joined Raymond James, drawn by its emphasis on putting clients first. He is a current member of the firm’s Chairman’s Council* and holds Series 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65 licenses.
Today, Todd lives in Northville with his wife, Christine. Their son, Spencer, now works alongside Todd as an advisor at The Knickerbocker Group of Raymond James. Their daughter, Kelsey, works for a branding and consulting firm in New York City.
When he’s away from the office, Todd enjoys traveling, skiing, boating and golfing.
