Joanna Ortiz-Sage

A Bay Area native, Joanna brings a lifelong passion for service and a strong background in customer care to her role as Client Service Associate. As part of the Kragen Wealth Management team, Joanna is responsible for maintaining the quality of service we provide to our clients, providing timely, accurate, and meaningful answers to clients’ questions and making sure their needs are always her priority.

Prior to joining Raymond James, she spent 8 years as the Director of Student Services at a local private school where she dedicated herself to supporting staff, students, and families. While there, she became a positional mentor who helped create training and professional development opportunities, was a founding member of the DSS Advisory Team, and was known for her strong operational acumen, compassionate nature, and willingness to go above and beyond to help her students not just succeed but thrive.

Outside of work, Joanna enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and writing. She’s an avid lover of the arts and her favorite local teams. However, she is happiest when spending a cozy weekend at home with her husband, Matt, and their rescue dog, Posey.
