Jeff is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner who began work in the financial services industry in 1988 after earning his degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University. Prior to collaborating with four other experienced advisors to establish Kruse Woods Financial Partners in 2014, he worked at First Investors for 26 years. Jeff appreciates the independence, industry research and resources that he and his partners at KWFP are offered through Raymond James.
As a CFP® professional, Jeff focuses his practice on investment management and financial planning for individuals and small businesses. He enjoys partnering with them to pursue their goals in all elements of financial planning including insurance, investing, wealth management, tax planning, retirement planning and estate planning. Jeff takes great pride in helping clients achieve the success they desire whether it be saving for their dream house or sending their kids to college. Building lasting relationships is what he values most.
Jeff, his wife Tracy, their two daughters and two dogs make their home in Newberg on a 25-acre farm. The Capellens love traveling, camping, working on their property and cheering for the Blazers, Thorns and Timbers. They enjoy stopping by one of the many wineries near their home for a nice glass of cabernet franc or zinfandel. Jeff competes in marksmanship matches throughout the West Coast and serves as a board member for a large regional non-profit organization.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and
