As a financial advisor, Lori helps individuals identify their goals and works with them to implement a process so that they stay on track to be financially successful. She enjoys working with people to ensure that they have confidence when it comes to their family and their future. Having been divorced and a single mom with young children, she is particularly passionate about educating and empowering women to be financially knowledgeable. She has been with Raymond James since 2007.
Lori is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. This designation holds her to a high ethical standard to ensure that her financial recommendations are in the client’s best interest. To earn the CFP® certification, she had to complete an approved educational program, pass a rigorous board examination and meet stringent experience requirements. This training has enabled Lori to be committed to providing the highest standard of financial planning services. She is required to fulfill annual continuing education requirements to remain aware of current planning strategies and financial trends. In addition to the CFP® certification, she holds the Series 7, Series 66 and Life & Health Insurance licenses, including Long Term Care. She also earned a B.S. in Finance with a concentration in investments from George Mason University.
Lori grew up in Northern Virginia where she continues to reside with her husband. She has twin daughters that both teach school in Houston, Texas. Her hobbies include jogging, reading, sewing and being creative. She is active in her church where she serves on various committees and acts as coordinator for Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. She also has been involved with a local breast cancer foundation for a number of years. Her desire is to help people so they have peace of mind regarding their finances and ability to achieve their life goals.
