He is committed to making a lasting, positive impact by helping clients navigate financial decisions with clarity and confidence as they pursue both their immediate priorities and long-term goals.
Prior to joining Raymond James, Zak developed a diverse professional background rooted in both finance and entrepreneurship. He earned a bachelor’s degree in banking and consumer finance, with a minor in commercial and investment real estate, from Coastal Carolina University. His early experience included internships such as his time with Merrill Lynch, followed by launching and operating his own residential construction business. These experiences ultimately led him to pursue a career in financial advising, where he could more directly serve individuals and families. He currently holds his Series 7 and Series 66.
In delivering comprehensive financial guidance, Zak recognizes that strong relationships and consistent communication are foundational. This belief is what drew him to Raymond James, a firm known for its client-first philosophy, robust resources, and longstanding commitment to supporting advisor independence. This alignment allows him to provide recommendations with confidence, knowing they are designed to serve his clients’ best interests above all else.
On a day-to-day basis, Zak works closely with clients to manage their portfolios while also helping them better understand the financial landscape. Whether supporting businesses, young professionals, families, or those planning for retirement, he aims to deliver thoughtful, personalized guidance tailored to each client’s unique situation.
Outside of the office, Zak enjoys golfing, boating, and spending time outdoors. Originally from Connecticut, he now resides in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with his wife, Shelby and their daughter, Ruby. He values time with family and is grateful for the opportunity to build both a meaningful career and life in the community he serves.
