As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner with over twenty years of experience, Scott is dedicated to helping our clients work toward their financial goals and dreams.
By being certified by the CFP Board, Scott has submitted to the rigorous CFP® certification process that includes highly demanding education, examination, experience and ethical requirements.
Scott started in the industry in 1997. He was a financial advisor for eight years at Legg Mason and a Vice President at Morgan Stanley for four years. He holds Series 63, 7, 9 and 10 licenses, as well as life, health and variable annuity licenses. He serves as Chief Executive Officer of Legacy Financial Group and Branch Manager with RJFS.
Scott earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Embry-Riddle University. He is a notary* and a member of the Financial Services Institute. Active in his community, Scott is a member and alumni of LEAD Historic Triangle, a supporter of the United Way of Greater Williamsburg, and serves on the board of WJCC Schools Foundation.
Originally from Hampton Roads, Scott lives in Williamsburg and values his involvement in the community. In his free time, he enjoys reading nonfiction, 1960s-era auto restoration, saltwater fishing, hiking, travel, aviation, and spending time with his family.
