Tammy Mogilski is a founding partner of Legacy Financial Planning. For more than 30 years she has served the needs of individuals and families seeking comprehensive financial plans and strategies and personalized asset management strategies. As a Chartered Life Underwriter®, Chartered Financial Consultant® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Tammy focuses on helping clients in or nearing retirement develop effective retirement income strategies. 

Tammy Began her financial services industry career in 1987. She is experienced in all areas of financial planning including retirement, income distribution, estate, investment and special needs estate planning. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and Million Dollar Roundtable.

Legacy Financial planning was founded by Tammy and Brian Bedford while at MetLife. Tammy and Brian took the practice independent in 2012. Because of their passion for sharing their knowledge of financial planning and investment management, Tammy and Brian provide several opportunities throughout the year for clients, community members, and those in the workplace to attend “Legacy Learning” seminars, workshops, and corporate educational programs. Tammy has gained a reputation over the years for being able to present seemingly complex financial topics in a matter-of-fact, easy-to-understand manner.

Tammy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Alfred University. She earned her CLU®, ChFC® and CFP® certifications from The American College. She and her husband, Mark, reside in Penfield, NY with their two children, Shayne and Samantha. Tammy enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER,  CFP Logo Flame Design and  CFP Logo Plaque Design in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
