Phillip Eggers

Branch Manager, RJFS

Phil has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and manages more than $150 million in assets for over 300 families. He is honored to manage the wealth of his clients, and feels the enormous responsibility to always put his clients first in every decision he makes.

Phil grew up in Iowa and dreamed of becoming a financial advisor. He graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in business administration with specializations in banking and finance. After graduation, he worked a year for free with PaineWebber in Omaha, just so he could learn the business. He moved to Dallas in 1990 to start his career with Morgan Stanley, and became one of the youngest vice presidents in the firm. Wanting more control of the services he could offer his clients, Phil became an independent advisor in 1998.

Phil feels strongly about giving back to others. He was involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program during college. Today, he serves Angel Flight, a charitable organization that flies needy people to medical treatment in distant cities. He has served as its president and chairman, and also as a member of the board. He continues to fly Angel Flight missions in his own small plane and finds it a highly rewarding experience.

Since 2006, Phil has been married to the love of his life, Kelly, who works part-time in his office and as a Pilates instructor. His son, Tyler, is planning to attend college and work with him when the time comes. They live on a ranch they are building near Pilot Point, Texas, and attend Stonebriar Community Church. Phil enjoys flying, riding Harleys, the Rocky Mountains, and hearing people’s life stories.
