TIFIN @Work Referral Relationship Disclosure
IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
TIFIN @Work (“TIFIN”) will introduce you to Raymond James & Associates, Inc. and Raymond James Financial Services Advisors, Inc. (Collectively “Raymond James”) for the purpose of you potentially engaging Raymond James to provide wealth management, advisory, brokerage, financial planning, or other products or services.
This disclosure provides important information about the relationship between TIFIN and Raymond James.
Raymond James has entered into an agreement with TIFIN, an independent provider of financial wellness tools, educational content, and related services. Pursuant to this agreement, Raymond James licenses the TIFIN platform from TIFIN for a fee. Raymond James makes the platform available to employer clients for a technology access fee. The employer can elect to make the TIFIN platform available to their employees.
- TIFIN is not a current client of Raymond James and its affiliates (an endorsement under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 as amended)
- TIFIN receives compensation from Raymond James. Additional information regarding the terms and nature of this compensation is set forth below. TIFIN’s agreement with Raymond James and receipt of this compensation creates an incentive for TIFIN to refer you to Raymond James rather than to other investment advisers with which it does not have similar referral arrangements, resulting in a conflict of interest for TIFIN.
- Raymond James is an investment adviser registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
- TIFIN and Raymond James are not affiliated, and TIFIN is not authorized to provide investment advice on behalf of Raymond James or to act for or bind Raymond James. Any agreement you enter into with Raymond James will not become effective until accepted by Raymond James.
- TIFIN and Raymond James have entered into a written agreement pursuant to which TIFIN may refer potential clients to Raymond James. Raymond James pays TIFIN a fixed licensing fee for access to and use of the TIFIN @Work platform and related services. The licensing fee is not contingent upon, and does not vary based on whether any individual becomes a Raymond James client.
- Fees received by Raymond James from you pursuant to any written agreement(s) for services provided by Raymond James, through its financial advisor or otherwise, are neither reduced nor increased as a result of the licensing fee paid by Raymond James to TIFIN.
- Raymond James discloses its material conflicts of interest associated with its advisory services in its Form ADV Part 2 or wrap fee program brochure, as applicable, available at www.raymondjames.com/legal-disclosures
