Tom Laskaris started in the financial services industry in 1997 and joined Raymond James in 2001. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Wayne State University prior to beginning his career as a Financial Advisor. Tom joined Raymond James because he wants to help clients reach their goals and help their families in having a comfortable retirement, saving for their children’s education and planning for next generation. The firm’s Client First virtues align with his overwhelming belief that the needs of the client should always guide his decision making.
A native of southeastern Michigan, Tom resides in Southgate with his wife, Tina, and his two sons, Peter and Andreas. Tom is on the Board of Directors for the Modern Greek Studies at the University of Michigan and is actively involved with his church. Additionally, Tom has served his community by being a part of the AHEPA Educational Foundation which is an organization founded in 1922 to fight bigotry and hatred. Also, Tom is passionate about the Arts and is involved with scholarship programs that promote students works from Center of Creative Studies, Cranbrook Academy and Wayne State University through the Detroit Artists Market and the John Korachis scholarship award. When he is not working with clients, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, bike riding and reading.
