Kent W. Showler
Vice President Of Operations, LSA Branch Principal, RJFSKent's talent lies in leadership: building organizations, creating structure, and making complex operations run smoothly. He began his career as an advisor at Edward Jones' St. Louis headquarters, where he developed a strong foundation in client relationships, business management, and investment strategy. He later served as a Branch Manager at TD Ameritrade before stepping into his current role as Branch Principal.
Kent holds his Series 24, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses and has played a key role in developing the operational strategy, processes, and cross-functional structure that allow the organization to scale while maintaining efficiency and exceptional service.
Kent earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Towson University and a certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University. In recognition of his commitment to the community, he was named the Gambrills Odenton Recreation Council Person of the Year.
Outside the office, Kent is actively involved in his local community and church. He coaches youth baseball and basketball and serves on the board of the Gambrills Odenton Recreation Council, where he currently serves as Commissioner of Baseball. He also has a soft spot for his adopted senior dog. Kent lives in Maryland with his wife, Rachel, and their children, Kent Jr. and Savannah.
