Edmond Harold Wilson

Eddie Wilson has been serving individuals, families, and small business owners since graduating from college in 1983. He enjoyed a successful career as a Community Banker for 32 years, serving in various leadership roles ranging from Branch Manager to CEO. Eddie retired in the spring of 2018 and subsequently joined Raymond James in order to pursue his lifelong interest of beginning a financial advisory practice.

His practice is built with a focus on serving the financial needs of both individuals and businesses, with emphasis placed on a disciplined approach to both planning and investing.

A graduate of Georgia Southern University in 1983, Eddie earned his MBA from Mercer University in 1992.

Active in the Middle Georgia community, Eddie has served as a Board Member for the Macon Economic Development Commission, and as an Overseer and Sunday School teacher at Ingleside Baptist Church. In addition, Eddie recently completed a term on the local Board of Young Life, and currently serves as a member of the United Way Campaign Cabinet.

While living in Rome, GA, Eddie served as a Director of the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce, served 4 years as Chairman of the Floyd County Development Authority, and was appointed by Governor Perdue as a Director of both the Georgia Student Finance Commission and the Georgia Development Authority. He also served as an Elder and Sunday School teacher in the First Presbyterian Church.

A native of Perry, GA, Eddie graduated from Westfield Schools in 1978, and was elected to the Perry City Council at the age of 25. He was a member of the Leadership Georgia Class of 1990, and has been a participant of the Leadership programs in Perry, Calhoun, Rome, and Macon. Eddie and his wife, Penny, have three sons – Lawton (married to Katie), Patrick, and Brantley. They are really proud to have a granddaughter, Harper.
