When I was a child, my grandparents lost their farm in the 1980s farm crisis. While I didn’t understand the details of why my grandparents were selling their farm equipment, I fully understood the emotional sadness and stress it caused my family. I knew as a young child that financial confidence was something I wanted to strive for and help others achieve. I started my career with a goal of leaving people better than I found them and to treat clients as family.
I have been a financial advisor for over 24 years. I started my career with Northwestern Mutual in 1996, working primarily in Des Moines area. In 2013, I joined Edward Jones as an advisor. Then in 2021, I joined Raymond James, a firm that offers me the resources to serve the complex needs of clients and wealth management. I hold the CFP® certification, as well as the ChFC® and CLU® designations, in an effort to serve my clients with comprehensive knowledge.
I take the time to understand what is important to my clients and then create strategies tailored to your exact needs. Throughout the process, I empower clients to be co-creators of their strategies and partner with clients to help keep them on track, especially as goals inevitably change along the way.
I am proud to serve a diverse group of clients with wide-ranging goals, including creating, spending, giving, preserving or transferring wealth. Many of my clients are successful business owners. I particularly enjoy working with families that seek to create multigenerational wealth and with individuals who are within five years of retirement.
Giving back is a big priority in my life. Along with others in our community, I helped create a charity, the Golden Goose Club, designed to improve our community. I am a member of Rotary Club and enjoy supporting international mission work.
My home team includes my husband, Chad, and our three daughters, Ali, Macy and Kaylee. In my free time, I enjoy boating and cycling in the summer, hiking in national parks and exercising early in the morning.
