Karen was attracted to the financial services industry because of the opportunity it allows her to help clients pursue their financial wants and needs. She strives to establish relationships with the individuals and families she serves that enable them to feel both comfortable and fully able to discuss issues that arise.
Prior to joining Raymond James in November 2017, Karen served as a client service associate at UBS. Before that, she assisted officers with university donors and scholarship recipients at Florida Gulf Coast University; served as a registered sales assistant with Merrill Lynch in both Lexington, Kentucky and Fort Myers, Florida, from 1980 to 1991; and balanced bank teller entries in the accounting department of First Federal Savings and Loan. Karen earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Kentucky.
Karen is an active member of Our Lady of Light Catholic Church and is involved with the Rotary Club of Bonita Springs. She has provided support for two families with children undergoing heart surgeries through The Gift of Life International, as well as hosted an exchange student for a year.
Originally from New York, Karen has made her home in New Jersey, Kentucky and Florida over the years. She now lives in Estero, Florida, with her husband, Mark. The pair have three children: Christina, Jacquelyn and Richard. Karen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, meeting new people, trying new things (sometimes with encouragement), staying physically fit and helping those she cares about be happy and financially secure. She spends her free time spinning, paddle boarding, going to the gym, biking, traveling and gardening.
