Jerry grew up in Orlando, Florida and after graduating from Orlando’s Edgewater High, served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps. Upon his return to civilian life, Jerry attended and graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in English Literature. Soon after, Jerry went to work at Montgomery Ward & Co. as a trainee, eventually working his way up to the position of Southeastern Regional Sales Manager. After parting from Montgomery Ward, he and a partner established a chain of retail stores spanning four states. They subsequently sold the company and Jerry entered the financial services industry.
Jerry has been a financial advisor and retirement plan consultant for 30 years. He is dedicated to the success of his clients through quality planning and thoughtful advice. He offers a full range of services which includes asset management, estate and tax planning, often working with Estate Attorneys and CPAs.
Jerry has often spoken to groups such as Rotary, Kiwana’s, Lions Clubs, Zonta International, the Tampa Chapter of Hadassah, University of South Florida Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity, and The South Council of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce. His favorite topic is “How do I Prevent the IRS from Becoming My IRA Beneficiary?”
A 20-year veteran of the investment industry, Karen has valuable and varied experience that enables her to fulfill most account-related needs for our clients. She worked for Barnett Securities, A.G. Edwards, UBS and Raymond James & Associates before joining the Meinrod & Leeper team in 2006, and she holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Competent and reliable, Karen is a strong problem-solver that clients call on to help with everything from small tasks to very complex issues. If she doesn't know the answer she will find it, and manages to handle each client's need with grace, speed and integrity.
Originally from North Dakota, she earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Southern New Hampshire. Prior to entering the investment industry, Karen proudly served our country for seven years in the Navy. She traveled to the Azores, Iceland, Puerto Rico, London and Spain throughout her military career. Athletically gifted, she also represented the Navy women's basketball team as starting point guard.
Today, Karen enjoys sharing her life with her husband and two daughters. She now challenges her endurance through running and competing in marathons. She qualified for the Boston Marathon and has competed in a variety of other races, including the New York Marathon, the Jacksonville Gate River Run, and relays across the state. Active in the community, she finds time to participate in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life activities and volunteer at her daughters' schools.
With a passion for helping others, Judy has built strong relationships with clients for more than 30 years. Beginning her career in the financial services industry in 1984, she worked for UBS/PaineWebber, Deutsche Bank and Alex Brown & Sons before joining our team at Raymond James in 2006. She also holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Approachable and compassionate, she quickly gains the confidence of clients when she treats their concerns with sensitivity and respect. Continuing her commitment to client service, she demonstrates her proficiencies by efficiently following through with client needs. Whether answering a question about statements, beneficiaries, funds disbursements, transfers or exercising cashless stock options, Judy is quick to uncover information and help find solutions.
Originally from Seattle, Washington, Judy enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael. They are avid antiquers, and are always on the lookout for historical treasures. They travel and delight in taking random road trips, driving through small towns and discovering new places. A self-proclaimed chef and baker, Judy's favorite dish is lasagna and she bakes a delicious rum cake. A jack-of-all-trades, she also performed in 2008 at New York's Carnegie Hall with the all-female chorus group the Sweet Adelines International.
Kristin is our Financial Planning Consultant and registered Sales Associate. She excels in handling projects, providing solutions and servicing relationships for the team. Kristin's ten years of Raymond James experience and more than twenty years of securities industry experience increase the depth of knowledge and wisdom at your fingertips while also adding to our VIP client-service capabilities as your advisor team.
Kristin is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She earned her AAMS® designation in 2007 from Kaplan University. Kristin was recognized with multiple Service Excellence awards, including the prestigious ACE Award* from Raymond James in 2012. She recently completed the Ed Slott IRA Success course in 2016 and is proficient in handling complex estate and trust matters for our clients. In 2013, Kristin married her longtime boyfriend, Rick Dunham, and she enjoys travelling and watching the Florida Gators football team.

Paula's strong administrative background was gained with experience working in sales and insurance businesses for over 20 years. She joined our team in 2007. Because of her broad skill set, she is involved in many roles and projects.
She is the warm and friendly face of Meinrod & Leeper Wealth Management. She takes a great deal of pride in creating the "Red Carpet" experience for our clients. People often instantly connect with Paula. Her poised and professional manner makes clients feel comfortable and secure when they walk through our door. Clients will find a friend in Paula. She recognizes you and calls you by name, is the first to lend a hand, the smile you want to see, always has something nice to say, and knows exactly what to do to make you feel special. She has a key role in helping to coordinate client events and educational seminars. She also handles the distribution of communication and marketing materials, manages our database, and organizes the office's daily operations.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Paula is happy to call Jacksonville home and enjoys the Florida sunshine. Between living in New York and Florida, she spent nearly 30 years in Atlanta, Georgia. Paula is a proud mother. Her son graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia. She is a "Bull-Dawg" fan and can’t get enough of watching football and basketball.

She is one of our Registered Sales Associates and holds the Series 7, 63, 65 and Life and Health Insurance licenses. Jennifer’s ingenuity and positive disposition enhance the service she provides. She assists our team with providing client solutions, managing relationships and handling projects.
Jennifer is a Jacksonville native and an active volunteer in the community. She participates as a team leader in the student ministry at Chet’s Creek Church and volunteers for Kidz Extreme, an inner city Ministry. Jennifer values spending time with her husband, Clark, and their two children, Kala and Garrett.
