Wilson is dedicated to building and implementing investment portfolios for clients that are designed to help them pursue their long-term goals. He listens intently to the issues and aspirations of each client in order to build a strategy that is customized to their personal situation.

He talks to his clients on a daily basis and enjoys building long-term relationships with them. He considers them to not just be clients but friends who he enjoys being around. His goal is to help them have the financial independence to do the things they want in life.

Wilson has more than 20 years of financial industry experience. He joined Raymond James in 2012 when the firm acquired Morgan Keegan, where he worked since 2008. Previously, he was an investment counselor at Fisher Investments and a junior portfolio manager at Evergreen Investments. He began his career as an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds Series 7, 65 and 66 securities licenses and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He is a member of the Raymond James Chairman’s Council, a privilege limited to a select few.*

Wilson has been active in the community throughout his career. He serves as a board member of Methodist Healthcare Foundation and is looking forward to serving as board chair. He previously served on the board of Presbyterian Day School. He also serves on the advisory board of the Kemmons Wilson Family Foundation.

In addition, Wilson serves on the board of Families Matter, a ministry whose mission is to increase the number of healthy, loving, caring and forgiving families in Memphis, Shelby County and beyond through a community-wide movement.

“My Christian faith is an integral part of my life and drives my decision to be the best husband and father I can be,” Wilsons says. “Many organizations I give my time and energy to have a faith-based component.”

Wilson was born and raised in Memphis and spent time in Georgia, North Carolina and California before moving back to Memphis, where he lives today with his wife, Katie. They have four children, Wils, Brantley, Joseph and Liza. In his free time, he enjoys golf, travel, reading and coaching youth sports.
