Robert Kemper
Principal, Mendham Wealth Partners Portfolio Strategist, RJFSRob is a seasoned wealth management professional who brings a powerful blend of three decades of experience in the financial services industry and a deeply personal mission to every client relationship.
His passion for investing began early, inspired by his father who read the Wall Street Journal each morning and carefully built a retirement portfolio from a modest carpenter’s salary – lessons that fuel Rob’s mission to help clients navigate a complex financial landscape with confidence and clarity.
Rob’s career began as a stockbroker for Lehman Brothers in 1990, followed by a 20-year tenure at Citigroup. There, he developed expertise across consumer and institutional banking units, including Citi’s Public Sector Group, a business that provides financial advice and solutions to federal and local governments globally. His institutional background gives him unique, high-level insight into the investment strategies of large-scale, sophisticated entities like college endowments, government pensions and sovereign wealth funds.
Since joining Mendham Wealth Partners in 2014, Rob has focused on helping individual clients better understand the investment landscape. He strives to apply thoughtful, disciplined strategies inspired by institutional practices – delivering clarity and value without added complexity.
Rob holds an MBA in international finance from St. John’s University and a BS in economics from Queens College. A resident of Bellevue, Washington, he lives with his wife and two children. When he’s not combing through the latest academic papers, you’ll find him enjoying the outdoors – camping, backpacking, skiing or exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with his family.
