Will Farriss
SVP, Real Estate Banker Commercial Lending Unit – NYWilliam Farriss is a senior vice president for Raymond James Bank Commercial Real Estate. He has over 20 years of experience in corporate and commercial lending as well as debt capital markets.
In this role, Will supports advisors and clients in identifying, structuring, closing, monitoring and servicing $10MM+ in commercial real estate loan opportunities of varying complexity. He is responsible for ensuring that all loan decisions, actions and recommendations are based on an accurate and thorough understanding of each customer's financial needs, market characteristics and conditions, and comply with Raymond James Bank policy.
He began his career in a management and credit training program at First Union in the commercial real estate group. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Roanoke College. Prior to joining Raymond James in 2021, Will managed the coverage of national real estate sponsors with Webster Bank based in New York City. He also worked with the private client segment in commercial Real estate lending at Credit Suisse and Santander Bank.
Outside the office, Will dedicates his free time to multiple charitable organizations, engaging with First Tee and the American Red Cross.
