More Than 30 Years of Experience
John Morgan brings more than 30 years of experience to clients in New Orleans, Metairie, Houma, and throughout the Gulf South. He grew-up in a small close knit community with parents who taught him a strong work ethic. Following a client-first tradition, he treats clients as if they were his extended family.
He provides personalized investment and financial planning alternatives to individuals planning for retirement, the newly retired, women, physicians, and business owners. His practice focuses on active and passive asset management as well as on financial, retirement, and estate planning.
John has the skill and education to lead investors through turbulent times. He graduated from Nicholls State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. In 1988 he received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional certification and in 1999 earned a master's degree in Wealth Management from the College of Financial Planning.
Contributing To His Community
Committed to his community, John is past-president of the New Orleans chapter of the International Association for Financial Planning (IAFP). Currently, he serves on the Metropolitan Crime Commission's board, and is a sponsor of the Jefferson Performing Arts Society.
In 2008 John joined other community leaders in graduating from the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute. NORLI brings together leaders to provide a more thorough understanding of issues and enhanced ability to act for the good of the community.
Since 2004 through 2016, each year John has been named in the Raymond James Leaders Council. (Membership is based on assets under management. Re-qualification is required annually.)
John is an avid outdoorsman and lives in River Ridge with his wife, Jackie, and daughter, Victoria.
