Michael Drummond is a Financial Advisor with Raymond James, in the firm’s Upper Arlington branch office. Michael believes the cornerstone of a successful client/advisor relationship is the mutual trust and respect that develops over time, and he is deeply committed to helping his clients realize their long-term financial goals. He provides a comprehensive approach to: wealth management, risk management, estate planning, and investment policy development to corporate leaders, high net worth individuals, and nonprofit institutions.

Michael employs the vast resources of Raymond James, one of the largest independent financial services firms in the nation, to bring the right expertise and tailored financial solutions designed to meet his clients’ specific needs. He works diligently to meet his clients’ expectations with exceptional customer service and the intention of being their trusted wealth advisor for life.

Prior to beginning his career at Raymond James, he was a veteran of the hedge fund industry working for Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund, where he helped them build high performing teams throughout their investment engine.  He also spent 20 years as an entrepreneur building and managing an organizational design and human capital consulting firm serving some of the world’s most respected hedge funds and alternative asset managers. He received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University.

Michael holds the Series 7, Series 66, and the Ohio life and long-term care insurance licenses.  He has also earned the Certified Estate Planner ™ and Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ certifications.

Originally from Northeastern Ohio, he lives in Columbus and is active in the community as a volunteer for organizations such as: The Ohio Masonic Home, The Ronald McDonald House, and The Columbus School for Girls. He is a member of the York Lodge No. 563 Free & Accepted Masons, as well as the Valley of Columbus Scottish Rite. He enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, tennis, and collecting vintage vinyl.  Michael and his wife, Annie, have two children, Katie and Josie.
