Mark A. McGuigan

Financial Advisor

Mark was first a client of Mid-Continent Financial before joining as an Advisor in 2014. His previous professional life entailed positions in Marketing and Sales, mainly in the elevator industry. Mid-Continent Financial –knowledgeable advice, integrity, service – meant he was joining a team that was a good fit for his ‘client first’ philosophy. Mark feels fortunate to have great support, not only in the local office, but also from Broker/Dealer Raymond James. The myriad of tools available allows customized solutions designed to meet people’s individual financial needs. The planning orientation instituted by Bob James in 1962 is still prevalent today and is consistent with Mark’s belief that financial professionals should help build brighter futures and create a better experience for our clients. Helping clients get organized sets the foundation for going beyond just managing investments. It allows the opportunity to be strategic and plan in multiple areas - investing, taxes, and estate issues.

Mark attained a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma. He is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative having attained the Series 7 - General Securities Representative Exam and Series 66 - Uniform Combined State Law Exam. As well, he holds insurance licensing allowing the ability to address life, disability, and long-term care insurance needs. Mark is a teacher at heart and enjoys the opportunity to share knowledge. This may be one on one but he is also open to speak to groups on general investing topics.

Mark has resided in Arkansas City most of his life. He and wife Kelly, maiden name Rindt, are both Ark City natives. Kelly works in elementary education. They have two grown children. Free time usually involves family, activities at First Baptist Church in Ark City, watching University of Oklahoma sports, and playing tennis or golf.
