Kara joined Miller & Gay as an Executive Assistant in 2020. She primarily assists Jeff Gay, but is available to meet the administrative needs of all clients in the branch.

Kara is a York County native, attending Christian School of York and then Central York High School, where she graduated in 2007. She went on to earn her Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Marketing from Penn State University. Kara has a client and financial services background, previously working at a State Farm Insurance agency and at Peoples Bank in retail support. She’s previously assisted in the management and marketing of other local businesses as well. Her methodical, detail-oriented approach to completing client service projects is an asset to the advisors and clients of Miller & Gay.

Kara enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, four children, and Labrador Retriever.
