Corey grew up in Winchester, Tennessee, where he learned early on the value of hard work, community and thoughtful financial decision-making. That foundation led Corey to Middle Tennessee State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance, and later to the Belmont Center for Executive Learning, where he completed the Certificate in Financial Planning. After finishing the program, Corey passed the CFP® Board Exam and became a Certified Financial Planner® professional.
Today, as a co-owner of Miller-Garner Wealth Management, Corey focuses on guiding retirees and business owners toward greater clarity, confidence and long-term financial independence . Our practice is built on a comprehensive planning philosophy that addresses every dimension of a client’s financial life from retirement income and investment strategy to tax considerations, business transitions and legacy planning.
We believe clients choose our team because we prioritize relationships over transactions. Corey is committed to long-term partnerships grounded in trust, proactive communication and advice that aligns with each client’s goals, not market trends or short-term noise.
Outside the office, Corey enjoys playing golf, hunting and spending time with family. His wife, Katie, and daughter, Ellie, along with their two dogs, Layla and Hank, keep him busy and grateful. He loves being outdoors, taking walks and enjoying any time they get together.
