I began working as a Financial Advisor at Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., in April of 2002. Raymond James team of professionals, technology and products and services allow me to help clients learn about their finances and provide guidance during each stage of their life. Helping younger clients learn to save and invest is exciting as is helping older clients turn their savings into a satisfying retirement.
For the past 10 years I was the primary caregiver for my parents until they passed during the pandemic in 2021. The experience, though difficult at times, was manageable because of the knowledge I had gained during my career, my dedicated siblings and the team of healthcare professionals we built as we navigated the journey. All the classes on Estate Planning and Eldercare issues I had taken over the years paid off. I have been able to share this knowledge with existing clients and hope to continue to help others that encounter similar circumstances in the coming years.
To prepare for the work I do, I attended and graduated with a B.A. in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas. I hold series 7, 24, 63 and 66 securities and Minnesota insurance licenses. Each year I take continuing education courses to stay up to date with technology and an ever-changing investing environment. Recently I completed the course work to serve as an Arbitrator for FINRA.
In my spare time, I love to garden, work on projects around the house and spend time with family and friends. I am hoping to add traveling to this list soon.
