Tracey Coffield, MBA, CFP® joined the MKS Team in 2017 as a Senior Financial Planner. She offers clients relevant knowledge and experience in areas such as retirement income strategies, investment management, tax planning, retirement projections, portfolio analysis, transition planning, college funding, corporate employee benefits, risk management, charitable giving, estate and legacy planning, and more.
Tracey began her financial planning career in 2011 with Raymond James Financial Services in Ann Arbor, Michigan after completing the education requirement and certification exam for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. Previously, Tracey had a 15-year career in a tax-related field with Thomson Reuters Tax and Accounting in Dexter, Michigan.
Foremost, Tracey considers herself an educator who strives to explain and illustrate financial concepts in understandable terms to empower clients with their financial matters. She considers it an honor to partner with clients over the long term on their journey toward their financial goals. She understands that every client has their own unique personal relationship with money so her kind, patient, and non-judgmental style puts clients at ease.
Tracey was a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Finance and Accounting. She earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University. Ongoing education is important to Tracey so she frequently attends classes, seminars, and webinars on industry-related topics and other topics of interest such as photography, cooking, and personal development.
In her spare time, Tracey’s primary hobby is photography with strong interests in portraiture and macro flower photos. She also enjoys biking, reading, volunteering, knitting, and home improvement projects. Tracey lives in Holland with her shamelessly cute dog, Ginger.
Tracey hold Series 7, 63, and 24 licenses, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.
