Pete acts with integrity and diligence when serving his clients, wanting them to always know that their best interests are top-of-mind while remaining committed to delivering quality service. Everything he does is centered around the client experience and their financial well-being. He takes special care to get to know as much about each client as possible, spending extra time with each to make certain that they fully understand each aspect of their financial picture.
Prior to joining Raymond James, Pete began his career in operations at Merrill Lynch, eventually working his way up to the role of client service associate. He held several leadership roles before deciding to become a financial advisor, including a role in compliance and risk as regional administrative manager for the southwest region, which he believes has helped build confidence and trust with existing clients and prospects alike. He is also the recipient of the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor™ designation.
On a day-to-day basis, Pete meets with clients to review their strategies and maintain focus on their long-term plans. He wants all of his clients to know what they own, why they own it and what the associated costs mean for their financial health. He believes it’s important for clients to understand their investments and takes great pleasure in instances where his clients tell him they have no financial worries, letting them focus on the things they enjoy.
Outside the office, Pete enjoys surfing, golfing, fishing, cooking and triathlons. He has competed in several Iron Man events, feats of endurance that only a select few individuals have the drive and determination to attempt, let alone complete. After swimming two and a half miles and cycling for over a hundred, the race then requires athletes to run a full marathon, all without stopping for more than a quick change of dress.
Originally from Southeast Texas, Pete lives in Laguna Niguel with his wife, Marnie.
