At Mortenson Financial Services, we believe doing business in the community means being part of the community. That’s why we go beyond financial services to support causes that make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Each quarter throughout the year, our team actively partners with community-based organizations, dedicating time, resources, and significant financial contributions to help advance missions that align with our values.

In addition to one-time gifts to a variety of charitable causes, we’re proud and honored to maintain ongoing relationships with organizations that uplift and empower, including:

• Melanoma Research Foundation. Each year, we sponsor and participate in the Seattle Miles for Melanoma 5K to raise lifesaving funds for melanoma research across the U.S.
  
• Seattle’s Union Gospel We contribute annually to support our homeless neighbors with care, compassion, and long-term recovery resources.
  
• MFS Gives Back(pack). Launched in September 2025, our annual initiative provides essential school supplies to local students. We purchased, assembled, and distributed 100 backpacks this year to help kids start the school year with the resources they need.

These initiatives reflect our ongoing investment in and commitment to building stronger, healthier communities, not just through financial planning but through meaningful engagement and shared values.
