Bret started his career after graduating from Butler University in 2014. Bret joined Morton Private Wealth Strategies in 2016 due to their long experience in the financial services industry and their advisor’s affiliation with Raymond James. Bret was recognized in AdvisorHub’s 2022 Fastest Growing Advisors to Watch.

Bret’s goal is to help clients manage and create wealth. Bret does this through his multi-step plan that begins with listening to get to know his clients and their goals honestly. He realizes that to serve his clients successfully, he must develop a deep trust with them, and he achieves this through his straightforward and transparent approach to financial planning.

Bret resides in Geneva with his wife, Erin, and son, Callan. Bret and Erin are passionate about giving back to the community. Bret is a Director for the Geneva Community Chest, which raises money for over 20 local charities, and both Bret and Erin organize the Beth Shannon Memorial Golf Outing, which has raised over 50k of scholarships for future educators in honor of Bret’s mother, who passed away from cancer in 2016. When Bret is not working, you can find him running around with his family, on the golf course, or watching football (aka reliving the glory days).
