For more than 35 years, Kathy has dedicated herself to helping numerous clients accomplish their goals. Kathy is passionate about her career and enjoys getting to know her clients and their families. She is guided by a set of core values: acting in the best interest of her clients, providing objective multi-faceted financial advice tailored to each client's needs, and maintaining the highest levels of honesty and integrity.

Kathy believes long-term relationships and successful long-term financial plans are built by encouraging open communication. She uses a transparent, straightforward approach to investing that begins with listening to each client's personal, business, and philanthropic priorities. Kathy works closely with her clients on an ongoing basis to help them navigate the complexities and distractions that arise throughout their lifetimes. Whether the desired result is building wealth, deriving income during retirement, providing for a loved one's education, or preserving and passing along a legacy, Kathy is a trusted advocate for her clients' needs.

Kathy has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation demonstrating her knowledge and expertise in financial planning. She earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Western New England University and is a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (FSP™), the Financial Services Institute and Chicago Women’s Leaders. She has also been recognized repeatedly as a Five Star Wealth Manager by Chicago Magazine.

Kathy and her husband, Jim, reside in Sugar Grove, Illinois, and co-founded MPWS, Inc. Their two children, Marissa, and Jimmy have also worked in the firm for several years. Marissa is now a valuable member of their team as Kathy's co-advisor. She had worked part time in marketing and other support roles prior to becoming a fully licensed advisor in 2020. Marissa graduated from Loyola University, Chicago, with an Economics and Political Science degree. Jimmy has worked for the firm in a part time capacity since 2016 providing support as needed. In May 2022, he graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree with an accounting major. He is a proud alumnus and a two-time National Champion with their golf team. He continues to work for MPWS, Inc while pursuing his professional golf career.

Faith and a strong values base are driving forces in Kathy's daily life. She offers her time, talents, and gifts whenever she can and especially when needs arise. She also enjoys theater, finding creative outlets, and many outdoor activities.
